Displaying cities and towns from across the region, it names; Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Leeds, York, Hull, Thirsk, Skipton, Bridlington, Malton, Scarborough, Whitby, Middlesbrough and Richmond. Across the map, it features ten weather-based icons with what we think are the most common Yorkshire sayings! From the most common, ‘Mek up tha bleedin’ mind!’ to the long-awaited ‘nowt beats this’, our weather map represents how varied the weather is in God’s own Country. At the bottom of the print, we’ve put another frequently said Yorkshire phrase, ’If it’s a bit nesh, put coat on and turn heating off’. Though we think that’s probably more about saving on the heating bill than saving the planet.
